Inspiration 2

Here is an advert for a new Citroen Car. In this advert the editor has used a technique that I want to use in my music video, where the actor in the ad has sparks or particles coming out of his hand, I want to use an effect like this, but instead of using a constant stream of particles, I will use the beat of the music to generate a burst of particles on the beat.

I also really like the way that the light trails have been used in this video to create the shape of the car. Outlining it, and making it seem transparent. I would like to be able to use this effect to generate the outline of the artist or actor in the video. Although I am cautious that this might be a little too time consuming and may end up trying to find a simpler alternative that has a similar effect but with much less effort and time consumption.
